Whether I’m photographing a landscape, my kids, architecture or a wedding it is all the same to me – a great picture can be made of almost anything. I find weddings brilliant to photograph. All the emotions are there – happiness, nervousness, tears are often shed. Great pictures of people should capture their emotions – at a wedding those emotions are right in front of me. All I have to do is press the button at the right time!"
Many couples who book tell us they hate having their photo taken. This is never a problem. As Jon says, "It is simple – let people be themselves and enjoy the party with their friends and family. I don’t ask people to do things that will make them feel awkward. It is very important to me that in 10 years time the couple can look at the pictures and remember what happened on the day without thinking they look uncomfortable. The people who book us tend to be looking for a relaxed approach to the photography. They don’t want endless pictures of people standing in straight lines looking like they are waiting for the firing squad. They also don’t want the photographs taking hours which suits me as I like to work really fast."
I want to excite people with my pictures . I like spontaneity in picture taking which really suits a fast moving event such as a wedding. I like to document the complete story of the wedding day including all the bits the bride and groom were too busy to notice or remember. I like to think I’m providing a book of great photographs rather than a ‘naff’ wedding album which will sit under your bed."
To keep things simple, we offer the same service no matter what package you decide to go for:
Photography coverage from groom/guests arrival through to when you sit for your meal; no set number of hours (Bride preparations/evening reception is the only extra and is optional).

Following any requested relaxed family shots and around 30 minutes alone with you both, Jon continues with low key coverage allowing your day to flow and giving you more time to enjoy with your friends and family
Your own password protected web gallery of all the images from your wedding – your guests can purchase reprints directly through our secure server saving you from collecting orders
Flexibility in our album packages - every album we offer can be tailored to your needs by adjusting overall album size and number of pages. When you book with us, you don’t have to commit to a particular album option - we prefer to agree with you the best album package once you have viewed the complete set of images from your day
A range of contemporary ways in which to present your favourite images – canvases, acrylics, designer framing & parent albums

Because we provide such a personal and tailored service, Jon only photographs a limited number of weddings each year.
